A long time ago, in a lifetime far, far away, I sold, trashed or stored all my worldly belongings, quit my job(s), bid farewell to my boyfriend and bought a Round-the-World ticket to see what I could see. Traveling mostly solo, I was gone for nearly a year and visited 13 countries. I recently came across the detailed journals from this adventure and have decided they should live somewhere online. (All photos on this blog have been taken by me unless noted otherwise.) Dropping out of the drone of daily life is the kind of thing everyone talks about doing but I managed – after two years of saving and planning – to pull it off. I learned invaluable life lessons on this journey and it is one my proudest achievements. Enjoy!
